don't pay a cent. NO SETUP ,
NO MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION -
ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. This
service will remain FREE and
there is no limit to the
number and size of faxes
received.
Q. How do
I accept (activate) my fax
number
?
A. In order to activate your
invite please send a blank
email from your registered
email address with us to
register@faxfx.net with
"accept" in the subject
line, without the inverted
commas.

email also free ?
A. Print2Fax and Email2Fax
is now available,
unfortunately it's NOT FREE.
For this service you need to
purchase credits.

Q. If this is free how
can you provide me with a
sustainable service ?
A. Fax of Life earns revenue
through a rebate system from
Telkom for calls made to the
allocated numbers. This
revenue is sufficient for
Fax of Life to support this
fax reception service at no
charge to the end user, yet
still delivering a corporate
level service.
Q. Can my number receive
calls from anywhere ?
A. Yes for any 08660xxxxx, 08666xxxxx
and 08653xxxxx numbers.
Calls can be received from
anywhere in the world free
of charge, all you have to
do is add the prefix +27 to
your number and drop the
first 0 of your fax number.
i.e. +278660xxxxx or
+278666xxxxx.
Q. If I take a 08660xxxxx
number and don't use it will
it remain available ?
A. No. We reserve the right
to reclaim a number if there
has been no usage for
60-days. You will receive a
warning email prior to the
number being reclaimed. As
long as you receive at least
one fax every 60-days the
number will remain yours.
Q. Do I need to install
any special software ?
A. No. The FAX is sent to
you as a PDF file, attached
to an email. Most operating
systems have a default
viewer application installed
to view a PDF. However if
that doesn't work for you,
click here to download Adobe
Acrobat Reader. We can also
send the faxes in TIFF or PS
format on request.
Q. How long do I have to
wait for a number ?
A. There's no delay. The
moment you complete the
sign-up process the number
is allocated and activated,
ready to take faxes and send
them to your email.
Q. I can't open or view
my faxes?
A If you are receiving faxes
in PDF format you need to
have Acrobat Reader
installed to view PDF’s

password?
A. All you need to do is
login on your account

with your username
and password as per the
welcome email. Once logged
in on your account, please
click on "My Details" and
simply edit your username
and password and click on
the save icon on the top
right hand corner of the
page.
Q. Lost your password,
username or Fax Number?
A. Send a blank email from
your registered email
address to
lostpassword@faxfx.net
and we will send your
welcome email back to your
email address with your
login details and your fax
number on it.
